Whipped Feta Dip with Hot Honey

  • Author: Nora Winslow
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy whipped feta dip with hot honey and everything bagel seasoning, perfect for snacks, spreads, or sandwiches. Ready in about 10 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces (225 grams) feta cheese, good-quality packed in brine
  • 4 ounces (115 grams) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) hot honey
  • 2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh dill, parsley, or chives
  • Optional: extra red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by softening the feta and cream cheese, measuring out Greek yogurt, hot honey, everything bagel seasoning, fresh lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. In a food processor or blender, combine feta cheese, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, and garlic powder. Pulse to start, then blend until smooth and fluffy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Add hot honey and half of the everything bagel seasoning. Pulse a few times to incorporate while keeping some texture. Taste and add black pepper to preference. Adjust heat or sweetness if desired.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Drizzle extra hot honey on top and sprinkle the remaining everything bagel seasoning. Garnish with fresh herbs if using. Serve immediately with crackers, toasted bread, or cut veggies.

Notes

Use room temperature feta and cream cheese for best texture. If too thick, add a teaspoon or two of olive oil or Greek yogurt and blend again. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 4 days; bring to room temperature and stir before serving. Avoid fresh garlic as it can overpower the dip.
