  • Author: Nora Winslow
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A quick and easy recipe for perfectly crispy and flavorful corn on the cob made in the air fryer in just 10 minutes. Ideal for fast side dishes and customizable with various seasonings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional spices: smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning
  • Optional fresh herbs: parsley or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Peel back the husks and remove all silk strands from each ear of corn. Rinse quickly under cold water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. Brush each ear with melted butter or olive oil, coating every side. Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes.
  4. Place the corn in the air fryer basket in a single layer with space around each ear for air circulation.
  5. Cook for 4 minutes, then use tongs to flip each ear to the other side.
  6. Cook for another 4 minutes until the corn is golden brown with some charred spots.
  7. Remove the corn from the air fryer and brush with additional butter if desired.
  8. Sprinkle with any additional spices or fresh herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

[‘Pat corn dry after rinsing to ensure crispiness.’, ‘Use butter for richer flavor or olive oil for a lighter option.’, ‘Flip corn halfway through cooking for even browning.’, ‘Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to maintain crisp texture.’, ‘Customize with spices like smoked paprika or fresh herbs for extra flavor.’, ‘If air fryer basket is small, cook corn in batches.’, ‘Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to restore crispness.’, ‘Frozen corn on the cob can be used but may require extra cooking time and patting dry.’]
