- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Don’t overbake it! Let it cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the peanut butter, sugar, and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, add the heavy cream and mix until smooth.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie layer, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for about an hour.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to let it set properly.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder for the brownie layer. You can also substitute cream cheese with a dairy-free version if needed.
