  • Author: Nora Winslow
  • Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

Rich, tender, and flavorful beef bites coated in a buttery, garlicky sauce, perfect for meal prep or a crowd-pleasing dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the beef: Cut into bite-sized pieces if not already done. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Make the sauce: Mix minced garlic, melted butter, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl. Whisk until combined.
  3. Add everything to the slow cooker: Place beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it. Stir gently to coat the beef evenly.
  4. Cook: Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 4-5 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  5. Finish and serve: Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.

Notes

[‘Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.’, ‘Brown the beef in a skillet before slow cooking for extra flavor.’, ‘Thicken the sauce with cornstarch if desired.’, ‘Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.’]
