  • Author: David

  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

Mango Lassi is a traditional yogurt-based drink that combines the sweetness of mangoes with the tanginess of yogurt, making it a perfect refresher for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup whole milk (or non-dairy milk)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (sugar, honey, or agave syrup)
  • Pinch of ground cardamom (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop 2 ripe mangoes. If using frozen mangoes, let them thaw slightly for easier blending.
  2. In your blender, combine the chopped mangoes, 1 cup of plain yogurt, ½ cup of milk, and 2 tablespoons of sweetener. If you’re using cardamom, add a pinch now.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. This should take about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Taste your lassi and add more sweetener if necessary. Blend again briefly to combine.
  5. Pour the mango lassi into glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cardamom or a slice of mango if you’re feeling fancy!

Notes

For an extra refreshing drink, chill your yogurt and milk ahead of time. You can also experiment with flavors by adding vanilla extract or lime juice.
