- 2 tablespoons green tea leaves
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups full-fat milk
- Pinch of salt
- 2–3 crushed cardamom pods
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- Sugar, to taste
- Crushed pistachios and almonds (optional)
Instructions
- Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot over medium heat.
- Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves. Let it boil for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Using your whisk or ladle, vigorously whisk the tea for about 3-5 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of full-fat milk and a pinch of salt, along with 2-3 crushed cardamom pods and a small cinnamon stick. Stir well and let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea into cups, discarding the tea leaves and spices. Sweeten to your liking with sugar, honey, or maple syrup. Top with crushed pistachios and almonds for that extra flair!
