Description
A gooey, fudgy, chocolatey dessert that combines the best of brownies and pudding, made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup (120ml) milk
- ¼ cup (60g) melted unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
- ¼ cup (25g) cocoa powder
- 1 ¾ cups (420ml) boiling water
- Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts
Instructions
- Grease the inside of your crockpot with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
- Transfer the batter into your greased slow cooker, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cocoa powder. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter.
- Slowly pour the boiling water over the top of the batter and topping. Do not stir.
- Cover and cook on high for 2-2.5 hours. The edges should be set while the center remains jiggly.
- Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Scoop out portions and serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
