This crispy hot honey feta chicken is the ultimate 30-minute meal – juicy, crunchy, sweet, spicy, and topped with salty feta. It’s your new weeknight favorite!

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated feta cheese
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Hot honey, for drizzling
- Extra feta cheese, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, paprika, garlic powder, and salt; one with buttermilk; one with panko and feta cheese.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in buttermilk, then coat in panko-feta mixture. Press gently to adhere.
- Heat about 1 inch of oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken 6–8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
- Remove and drain on a wire rack. Drizzle with hot honey and top with extra feta if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the pan while frying. For extra crispiness, press panko firmly onto chicken. Let chicken rest briefly before drizzling with hot honey to lock in juices.
