Description
This Easy Cinnamon Sugar Pizza made with crescent rolls is a quick and delightful dessert that brings joy to any gathering. It’s a warm, gooey, cinnamon-sugar treat that’s ready in just minutes.
Ingredients
- Crescent Rolls
- Granulated Sugar
- Ground Cinnamon
- Unsalted Butter
- Optional Toppings (chopped nuts, chocolate chips, icing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup (optional).
- Open the package of crescent rolls and carefully unroll the dough. Place it on the prepared baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a rectangle.
- In a small bowl, melt about 4 tablespoons (56g) of unsalted butter in the microwave or on the stove. Let it cool slightly.
- In another bowl, combine 1/4 cup (50g) of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon (8g) of ground cinnamon. Adjust to your taste!
- Use a pastry brush to spread the melted butter evenly over the crescent dough.
- Generously sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered dough, ensuring an even coating.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice it into squares or wedges.
- Serve warm as is, or drizzle with icing if you desire!
Notes
Make sure to seal the seams of the crescent rolls properly to avoid leaking. Keep an eye on the pizza while it bakes to avoid over-browning.
