Description

Ingredients
Scale
- Cinnamon Rolls
- 4 large Eggs
- 1 cup whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Prep the Cinnamon Rolls: If using store-bought cinnamon rolls, cut them into quarters. If they’re homemade, slice them into thick pieces.
- Make the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs, 1 cup of whole milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Soak the Rolls: Dip the cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture, making sure they’re fully coated. Let them soak for about 5 minutes.
- Heat the Skillet: Place your skillet or griddle over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Let it melt and start to bubble.
- Cook the French Toast: Carefully add the soaked cinnamon rolls to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve Warm: Once cooked, serve your French toast warm, drizzled with maple syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
If the centers are still a bit soggy, pop them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes to finish cooking while keeping the outside crispy.
