Crockpot Honey Garlic Pork Tenderloin Easy Recipe for Tender Dinner

  • Author: Nora Winslow
  • Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes to 5 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

A hands-off crockpot recipe that yields tender pork tenderloin soaked in a sticky-sweet, garlicky sauce. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 to 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup honey (85g)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce (60ml)
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (30ml)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (120ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Trim any silver skin or excess fat off the pork tenderloin and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Mince garlic cloves and measure out sauce ingredients.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Place the pork tenderloin in the crockpot and pour the sauce evenly over the top, coating the pork.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours until pork is tender.
  6. Remove pork and set aside to rest.
  7. Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry, pour into crockpot, and cook on high uncovered for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  8. Slice pork tenderloin and drizzle with thickened sauce. Serve with desired sides.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and low-sodium soy sauce for best flavor balance. Avoid pork loin to prevent dryness. If sauce is too thin, simmer longer or add more cornstarch slurry. Cook on low heat for tender pork. Leftovers can be shredded for sandwiches or bowls. Can be adapted for Instant Pot or oven.
