- 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 4 cups chopped broccoli
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crushed pork rinds (optional)
- 1/4 cup bacon bits (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Steam or blanch fresh broccoli for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender but still bright green. If using frozen broccoli, thaw and pat dry to remove excess moisture.
- In a large bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl, toss shredded chicken and prepared broccoli together. Pour the creamy sauce over the mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the chicken and broccoli mixture into the prepared casserole dish. Spread it out evenly, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Add crushed pork rinds or bacon bits if desired.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy!
