Description
A dreamy, caramel-soaked dip that combines the tangy richness of cheesecake with the sweet, spiced goodness of caramel apples. Perfect for fall parties and gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup store-bought caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Apple slices (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)
- Pretzels, graham crackers, or cookies for dipping
Instructions
- Set out cream cheese to soften at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Slice apples and prep other dippers.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Slowly mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until fully combined. Start on low speed to avoid sugar clouds.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold it gently into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture into a serving bowl, smoothing it out with a spatula. Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the top and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Arrange apple slices, pretzels, and other dippers around the bowl. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
[‘Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth texture.’, ‘Whipping the heavy cream separately creates a light and airy texture.’, ‘Customize toppings with crushed toffee bits, mini chocolate chips, or sea salt.’, ‘Serve immediately for best taste, but the base can be made ahead of time.’]
