Description

These crab-stuffed mushrooms are a fancy yet easy appetizer that takes less than 30 minutes to make. Perfect for impressing guests or enjoying as a delicious snack.

  • 1620 large button or cremini mushrooms
  • 6 oz fresh crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and gently remove the stems.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  3. Use a small spoon or piping bag to fill each mushroom cap with the crab mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter until evenly coated. Sprinkle a pinch of breadcrumbs on top of each stuffed mushroom.
  5. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a lined baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.
  6. Let them cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
